Back to the Future
Interesting article about Mark Cuban in Politico today, noting that his reaction to Kamala Harris' potential entry into the Democratic Presidential race for 2028 was underwhelming, at best. I'm with you 100% Mark. Over the last three election cycles, the major party nominees for President have been Hilary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Donald Trump, Donald Trump, and Donald Trump. Really? If you were trying to stir up partisan anger, polarization, and a resistance to accomplishing anything bipartisan, are there any candidates who could do that better than these four?
I'm onboard to start considering better options, including non-politicians who are actually competent and not suffering from malignant narcissism. Mark Cuban is a great example - a billionaire who is tackling a problem (an out-of-control pharmaceutical system) that hurts tens of millions of Americans, because he has the ability and the motivation to do it, even though he can afford any prescription he wants. Plus he's a Pittsburgh guy. Just sayin'.
